Worship
High Point Friends Meeting is first and foremost a worshipping community. The Quaker author, Richard Foster writes, “To worship is to experience reality, to touch life. It is to know, to feel, to experience the resurrected Christ in the midst of the gathered community.” This is the aim of all of our worship opportunities.
Meeting For Worship Sundays at 11:00 a.m. ~ This programmed meeting offers an opportunity for worship by incorporating silence, sharing, singing, special music, prayer, and a message from the pastor.
5th Night Unprogrammed Worship Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. ~ This unprogrammed meeting for worship offers an opportunity to worship in the manner of early Friends. Worshipers gather in silence, with no previously arranged order. As worshipers are led by God’s Spirit, they minister out of the silence.
Monthly Meeting The Third Sunday of every month at 12:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for us to gather as a community to discern how we will conduct the business of the Meeting. We also share a fellowship time and meal.
Seasonal worship opportunities are offered during Holy Week, Christmas, and during other times of the year. Please check our calendar and newsletters for this information.

Participants will discover spiritual practices that aid them on their Christian journey and contribute to their faith formation and renewal.
